India Today reports that TRAI data indicates that the highest number of consumer complaints were registered against Bharti Airtel in 2011-2012. This information was presented in Parliament by the Minister of State for IT, Milind Deora.
Out of the total number of such complaints received by Trai during 2011-12, 1,165 complaints were against Bharti Airtel, followed by 654 against Vodafone and 647 against Reliance, Deora said in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
One wonders how much Airtel's service levels have been affected by its move to outsource all on-site support to local franchises.
