The Indian Express has a rather nostalgic (for some) story on the early days of the Internet in India.
According to HT, the father has been arrested on charges of endangering the life of a child and allowing a minor to drive, and released upon posting bail of Rs. 5000. The kid's mother is the one filming him.
Indians over a certain age might remember "Giant Robot" (or "Giant Robo") with a degree of nostalgia. Back in the day when Doordarshan was the Hobson's choice of TV viewers, we were treated to some pretty exotic features such as this Japanese TV show which I believe was telecast at around 7:00 pm.
"Saw this tractor was jacked up and had a rope tied through the wheel. Didn't understand why. Maybe waiting for parts? They showed me later what the rope was for."
