It is very sad cruel killing of innocent Maniappan KUtty. Even though Taleban gave 48 hours time, what our government was doing? They have asked us to stop the work. They should have stopped the work and should have made contact with taleban representative. Instead our officials/ministers were just washing their hands.
If the same thing happens to Manmohan Singh or Sonia Or Advani or Vajpayee, whether these people will be keeping quiet.
What happened during Mufti Mohamed Sayed period as Home Minister? Please remember.
I am ashamed of our politicians.
Only God will bless Maniappan Kutty's family members. My deepest condolences to their family members.

No I don't. But I think you should also consider the fact that by acceding to the terms of these terrorists, you are just going to be promoting more kidnappings etc. etc.
I'm sure the Indian government did its bit (in all of two days) considering that this happened on foreign soil where an unstable democracy holds power. And I don't think we should forget that our government secured the release of 3 Indians held hostage in Iraq not so long ago.. IMO if you want to point fingers, you should be pointing them at the Taliban.
Just my 0.02p :) I'm really not terribly interested or knowledgeable about politics :)

But everyone knows about the terrorist especially taleban, alquida etc. It doesnt mean I support terrorist, but we should have acted very fast. as per the newspaper report they claim no one has made any contact. Or they should have also given some time to consider. It is all fate. what to do? Receiving compensation or getting job will not solve the problem of deceased family members.
I feel if any higher official had been kindnapped, the Government should have taken immediate step. It is my opinion.
Let us pray it will not recur in future.
